Great stay, wanted to extend! the staff here is really good at their job, and the location is amazing - a bit off the main road, so it's nice and peaceful. 🌟

The property was beautiful old. Competent and excellent staff who cared about me. I had a well-appointed and tastefully decorated room with large bathroom, the hot tub, as example and everything was modern. I booked it many times and recommend.

This is a perfect place to stay! We were on our honeymoon and stopped by in this beautiful and incredibly affordable hotel. Nice, spaceous room and great breakfast, nearby all the toprestaurants. restaurant Ruebens, just a 3 minutes walk, is superb!
Wifi just in the breakfast-area.

Position The breakfast welcome was good, and the quality was good.
It seems that the owners are leaving it up to staff only. There is no sense of proprietorship. Many of the electrical items were not working ( two spotlights and one lamp). The fan aerating the bathroom did not switch off all night and we learnt that it is shared with another room nextdoor ( which turned out to be a shop on the road adjacent!). The mattress is so soft that there is a big dip in the middle, when two people lie on it. The plug in the Victorian bath was virtually impossible to remove from both the housing ( when not being used ), and the bath when wanting to drain the bath.

We stayed in a superior room as part of my 50th birthday. A beautiful guest house with very polite staff and helpful managers. Amazing bathroom. Great fresh breakfast. Well impressed!
A shame that such a wonderful place, location, and courtyard does not have a small bar for pre dinner drinks.

Comfortable, friendly, peaceful, very close to the main street in Franschhoek. Lovely place to stay.
Nothing, as long as you are aware that they only serve breakfast and close the guest house at 5 - 6pm and there is no service. When you know that, you make your own plans.

Convenient location close to restaurants, downtown, and vineyards, just a 5-minute walk from Huguenot Square. They serve freshly made food. 🍽️

The receptionist was very jolly and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. A good size bathroom with walk in shower. Excellent location for the town and good parking.
There did not appear to be any staff in the hotel at night although we were advised a security guard would be at reception.

Very attractive period building with beautifully furnished large en/suite bedrooms. Very centrally located just off main high street with 25 restaurants within easy walking distance. Welcoming staff and good value for money in what is an expensive area.
Nothing major - intermittent wi/fi and no fridge in room.

Charming little find in a great location.
The breakfast room was spacious with a good selection of food, including hot options. Although the air conditioning unit was a bit noisy and there was no fridge in the room, it didn't hinder my overall experience.
